Are You an Artist? Or Like to Live Artfully?
By admin on Nov 12, 2008 in - Dreamers in Hawaii
As many of you know, I am not only an EFT practitioner and trainer, but a professional author and artist as well. I chose about 8 years ago to allow my painting and carving to take a backseat to my EFT work, my writing, teleclasses and other interests.
But suddenly this summer I began to get itchy to carve again, so I ordered some stone and have been hacking away happily in my back yard under the monkeypod tree.
It’s been a real adventure, because I found that, not only did I have the same passion for carving as I did before, I also had the same doubts and fears about selling and marketing my artwork as before. It was as if I had simply put the book down for a while, and picked it up on the same page.
But now I have massive tools with which to deal with all that stuff, and so far the journey back into carving *and* selling my work could only be called miraculous.
So I’ve decided to share my adventure with you in my upcoming blogs and teleclasses, so those of you who have been closet artists, artist who hate to sell, artists who have had their hearts broken or dreams tromped on but still want to keep on keeping on, and those who just like to live more consciously, can see and discover from what I’ve done and gone through to create the incredible results I’ve had in only a couple months.
You can see what I’m doing to get back on track again, and maybe that will help you over or around some of the mine fields you’ve been too scared to walk through.
Because I’m having a ball this time around! It’s a very different experience for me now, and I’m even getting commissions, sales and orders right out of the blue!
Life is too short to put your dreams on hold. Stay tuned for more–and remember to break the mold and live your life as if it has meaning for you and everyone around you.
