Because I’ve been in touch with several people who predict energetic trends of movement and action. They say that it’s important this month in particular to stay connected to your core self–that energetic real-you, as you make decisions and actions that affect the rest of your life.
Why? Because August’s energy is all about powerful generating and manifesting. It’s so important to be connected to and aligned with your core values and core self when you decide and manifest, because it will have enormous impact for a long time.
What does connecting with your core self mean? I think you probably already have a pretty good idea of that, but I’ll give you an example of what it means to a friend of mine.
He’s a doctor, and says if the work he does doesn’t make his heart sing, he won’t do it. That, of course, doesn’t mean he doesn’t do the dirty work or the grunt work–it means that, at the end of the day when he goes home he can feel great about what he did. And at the beginning of the next, he feels charged and ready to go; things flow and he feels supported by the universe.
Maybe your day job doesn’t do that for you, but perhaps knowing that what you do supports your dream, your loves and your values will help remind you that it really doesn’t matter what livelihood you’re in as long as you stick to your core values and mainfest from a sense of Rightness and love within yourself.
Remember what I said on last month’s calls: success is a feeling.
If you feel great, you *are* great, and you radiate that, which affects your entire life experience. Great, of course, being defined by you within the context of your own life and beliefs.
Of course there are times when the going gets rough, but that connection is what leads you through and lands you on the other side with a big, “Whew! I did it!” I sometimes have to do things I’d much rather not do, but because those things support the underpinnings, the structure, and the goals of what I’m doing, I just figure it’s all part of the bigger vision, so I put what used to be my grudging attitude aside and try to add joy to it as best I can.

All my classes have audios and transcriptions so you can choose which you want. Transcriptions are great for those of you who prefer to read over listening, and for those for whom English is a second language–makes it easier to read and go at your own pace for greater understanding.
Tthe ‘prosperity movement’ is ubiquitous–all around us, all the time. There are a zillion programs directed only towards ‘getting.’ I feel that it isn’t all about getting–it’s about BEing.
