When Email Links Refuse to Work….

GeneralshouldOnce again – I thank everyone who wrote about the audio links – as I mentioned before, I always appreciate your notes.

(That’s General Should-issimo to the left – the one inside your head that says, “You Should….” all the time – got one of those?)

Here are a couple tips about using email links:
If a link won’t show as “live” in your email, copy and paste it into your browser bar and try it that way.

Or: if a link doesn’t work one browser, it may work in another. If you are using to Firefox, try it in Internet Explorer before giving up!

There were a couple of notes from folks saying they were sure I was using bad links as a ploy to be able to write my list and give a couple more days to the sale; and a very kind one saying she understood from her own experience as an email sender how it feels (thank you!).

Well, I suppose there are people who do manipulate like that, but I assure you, given the choice of looking like an inept, careless doofus and a savvy professional who truly wants to serve her list, I’d much prefer the latter any day.

Which would you choose? I think it’s obvious! Imagine for a minute how you’d feel making a simple goof like that with only yourself to see – and then compare how you’d feel making that same goof in front of several thousand people!

I think we all need to remember that, in this age of incredible technological wizardry where we can email hundreds of thousands of people at the push of a button, that we are all, still, very human – and as such, prone to err at least once in a while!

I also invite you to rethink how you look at the people who write your favorite ezines. I’d venture a bet that the ones you have stuck with and savored most are the ones who help you the most, are the most personable, who have high quality content, whose values meet your own – and who you LIKE!

I’ve spent the last ten years intensely studying the practices of business people, especially those who use the internet to connect. And by far, the ones who I can *feel,* whose values are aligned with mine, and who I like are the only ones whose ezines I still retain.

I have diligently unsubscribed from people who are still into push marketing, brash, pushy, hypey, tell-them rather than inviting. I’m a very independent person, and I don’t like it when I’m pushed. I know you know what I mean. That whole paradigm is on its way out, and I’m sooo glad.

I think about the only one I stick with who tells you what to do who is Jim Edwards – he’s so passionate about giving people what they need that his pushiness is out of a real desire to see you succeed.

Jim has so much good stuff on his membership site that I laugh when he plays pushy – it’s a good-hearted and sincere push – I know he’s not sitting there wringing his hands anticipating how much money he’s going to make off me.

Personally, I don’t think of myself as an “internet marketer.” Rather, I think of myself as being in the business of inspiration.

Inspiration is the totally passionate, undying, motivating, underlying, driving factor in everything I do, whether it’s to illustrate a book, create a painting, carve a sculpture, write a book, promote someone, practice or teach EFT, or give a teleclass. It’s inspiration that drives me – not money, not manipulation, not fame, not a desire for adulation.

Why is inspiration so important to me?

Because when we are inspired, we do and be things we’d never think of in an uninspired state.

Because I love to see people light up when they feel connected to their deepest soul’s commitment.

Because if people feel great, they act great.

Because if we all felt great the majority of time, we’d create one of the most incredible realities any of us could ever dream of.

Because it’s exciting! And when we are excited we feel good, and when we feel good we radiate that feel-good feeling out and out and out into the entire universe, speading it out to everyone and everything.

Imagine if we all felt good all the time! Woo-hoo!

Well, rant done. Feel good as much as you can – I dare you!

AND – I can hardly believe that not one person has emailed any questions for Mellen-Thomas yet!

How many people do you know who has died and come back??? And who willingly shares the information he gleaned on the Other Side??? Come on! I’m sure you have at least one question you want to ask! Do it now – the teleclass is on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19 at 8pm E!

It’s 97 a month. Before you croak with disbelief at the cost, I want you to think about all the 19, 29, 39 and 79 dollar ebooks and courses you’ve bought over time to try and learn what to do to use the internet as a marketing tool.

If you added it all up and then looked at the results of what you got from them, what would it be? Good? Bad? What if you could get all in one spot where you can see it and use it at your own pace – and know it’s all good?

Man, if I’d have just be able to go through the Joint Venture videos before I ever tried doing them I’d have avoided some pretty nasty headaches, and from looking very stupid a couple of times – I still blush when I think of those times!

Jim’s insight and experience and passion is patently obvious. In the past 6 or 7 years, he has done everything you *want* to do online. He started out like anyone, and slowly developed some really great strategies, made great connections, and has put out some really awesome products, and is now very successful.

Jim outlines what to do in superlatively clear step by step videos, audios and ebooks – all listed in newbie, intermediate and advanced categories to which you have complete access at your whim and leisure.

Can you find what he has anywhere else for the price? Not in my experience – and believe me, I’ve looked at, studied and worked with so many of them my eyes swim in my head to think of them all. I invite you to take a look:
