Why Would You Ever Want A Blog?
By admin on Feb 4, 2008 in - Your Biz Success -
I want to say thanks a million-million times for the very heartening emails congratulating me and supporting me in getting back into my artwork and the new tiles line – I can’t tell you how much it means to me. It’s like a major energy transfusion!
I’m looking for some people, and maybe you might be able to help me out:
* Architects, builders, interior designers, who might want art for the buildings or homes they are designing or building
* Collectors and others (dentists, doctors, lawyers, business people) who are looking for unusual contemporary art for their homes or offices.
If you know of anyone who would like to see my artwork, I’d so appreciate it if you would just guide them to Lyon-Art.com so they can make their own choices.
Please be sure to remind them to give me your name and email if they decide to contact me so I can send you a thank you surprise!

I just found these videos – they are fabulous: OnNetworks.com
If you are not on Joe Vitale’s list, you might have missed this really beautifully done set of videos. The Feng Shui series is really well done, and very informtive. The art series is super inspiring for those who want to get inspiration for starting, doing or continuing their work as an artist – I watched them all!
A dedicated mother who discovered her talents later in life, but no less fulfilled. Artist Kim Merrill…thought that art was only reserved for an elite few. An encouraging story for anyone who was afraid they didn’t have what it took to express themselves in art. HERE
You’ll also find this guy on the same page, on the list to the right:
Brian Apthorp – Comic Book Artist - Hear how he turned his lonely adolescence into inspiration for his graphic novel project.

For those of you who write to ask about creating a website, I always say create a blog!
Why?
Because: you can get a site for free, it takes relatively no time to learn the system to be able toset one up, it’s easy, and once you get the hang of it, you’ll be so pleased you don’t have to deal with a webmaster who’s always so busy you’re last in line, who doesn’t have a clue how to set up a site for marketing, who always wants pretty rather than functional, and who charges three arms and forty legs to do one change.
And I also always suggest you take the blogging classes Andy Wibbels gives, because he’s an outright expert and knows what he’s talking about.
If you’re unable to pay the 97 a month for Jim Edwards’ really over-the-top excellent membership resource for online marketers – which, as I’ve said before, is THE best – then this is a great option for one specific goal: putting your site up and out there in a very short time. Here are two resources he offers, both really good:

AND FINALLY, REMEMBER THIS:
“The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated, more destructive, a lot madder and a lot saner, than the average person.” - Frank Barron
